Pleasant View Yard Sale

Pleasant View, Inc. supports people with intellectual disabilities through residential and day placements. A yard sale to benefit Pleasant View will be held Saturday May 7, 2016 starting at 7:00am at 3135 Old Thirty-three Rd Harrisonburg VA 22801 (Belmont Yard Sale). All proceeds will go to Pleasant View, Inc.’s Annual Fund and will help us support individuals with disabilities as they work, volunteer and live in the community. Please come out and support us. If you want to volunteer to help with the yard sale or to donate items for the sale, please contact Pam Miller.

Valley Businesses Give Back

This annual food and fund drive provides the opportunity for friendly competition between local businesses and organizations in the Shenandoah Valley to see who can raise the most money and collect the most non-perishable food to help stock the shelves at BRAFB during the summer months. Sign your business or organization up at www.brafb.org/vbgb  by May 1. This year’s food and fund drive runs from June 6—June 24.

DuPont Community Credit Union is partnering with Shred-it once again for the semi-annual Shred Days! The community is invited to bring personal documents and have them securely shredded for FREE. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
