Start getting your team and tools ready, because this year’s Day of Caring is set! Whether you’re a gardener, organizer, mover, painter, chef, caregiver or computer guru, this day offers something for you.  So plan to join us solo, or recruit your colleagues to volunteer in support of our nonprofit community.

  • 7:45 a.m.- Buffet Breakfast
  • 8:00 a.m.- Program begins
  • 8:55 a.m.- Team recognition and send-off
  • 9:00 a.m.- Volunteer projects begin

Last year, nearly 300 volunteers from 32 teams served in our community. They completed 66 service projects at 26 nonprofit organizations throughout Harrisonburg and Rockingham County.  It was the biggest Day of Caring response we’ve seen in years.
