TCFHR 2026 scholarship winners awarded more than $432,000
Thirty-nine students were awarded scholarships this year from The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg and Rockingham. Awards total $423,400, with thousands more dollars going out to recipients of renewable scholarships based on academic performance.
Fifteen Valley high schools, two community colleges, and one graduate school were represented.
The awards range from tuition for one class at Massanutten Technical Center to as much as $10,000 a year for four years to a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Students from 22 Valley high schools can apply.
Approximately 80 community members serve on the selection committees.
