Arctoberfest

Arctoberfest is an annual, family-friendly German beer and wine festival hosted by The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham (HR) in downtown Harrisonburg. This outdoor festival includes specialty beers and wines, food trucks, live music & dancing, family-friendly games, contests, prizes, and craft vendors. Our third annual Arctoberfest will take place on Saturday October 5, 2019 from 1-6 PM in the parking lot between Jess’ Lunch and Jack Brown’s restaurant.

This family friendly event will be held in the parking lot between Jack Brown’s and Taj of India and benefiting The Arc of Harrisonburg and Rockingham. Arctoberfest promises to be a fun-filled day for people of all ages and abilities. We have live music by the The Judy Chops, The Hackens Boys, and Massanutten Brass Band,  polka dancing lessons by the Civil War Era Dancers, a multi-sensory children’s play area, contests for adults and children, raffles, prizes, food trucks from Jack Brown’s and Jess’ Lunch, craft vendors and of course, plenty of German beer from Restless Moons Brewery, Brothers Craft Brewing, Pale Fire Brewing, and The Friendly Fermenter.
