TALL HATS, HATPINS, AND EVENING PURSES

The exhibit features over 300 items including women’s hatpins made from a variety of materials, men’s hat pins and hats, and evening purses from the late 19^th century through the mid- 20^th century from the collections of Betty M. Driver of Broadway, VA.  Betty, a lifelong collector and  resident of Plains District, is an active volunteer at the Museum who coordinates our Indoor Yard Sales.

The museum is open 1:00 – 4:00PM Thursdays – Sundays. The exhibit will run through November.
