Join us at Hillandale Park from 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Sunday, April 24. Explore the great outdoors right in our backyard! Hike, activities, and trail mix sponsored by Walkabout Outfitter, Friendly City Food Co-op, and Sierra Club. *Children must be accompanied by an adult and pre-registration is required.

Quilting Brunch & Turning

Enjoy a delightful buffet style brunch followed by a Quilt Turning show-and-tell of the first 10 registrants’ quilts. The “turning” features a display of the quilts layered on a “bed” where quilt historian Pam Pampe explores each one, in turn. The audience learns about each quilt’s history – its design, fabrics and dyes, and quiltmaking techniques involved – and its story. Ticket includes museum admission, brunch, program, and door prize drawings.

1) Are you eligible for citizenship?
2) What is the citizenship interview and test?
3) What are the rights and responsibilities of a citizen?
4) Do you need to fill out the N-400 form?

Food 4 Thought: Downtown Trivia Crawl

Join us for this exciting first time event!!! You will be on a restaurant crawl answering trivia questions at each restaurant and doing a couple of scavengar hunt questions along the way as well!!! Teams of 4 will compete for fun and competitive prizes! What a great way to support literacy in our community!!!
Check-in and awards will be at Capital Ale House Harrisonburg! Trivia crawl stops will be at: The Golden Pony – VAJimmy MadisonsPale Fire Brewing Company & Bella Luna Wood-Fired Pizza!!! Each location will have some pretty awesome appetizer + drink specials going on just for event participants 🙂
